How Laser Removal Works
SL Lasers™ technology uses an ultra-short, high-energy laser pulse:
- The laser energy passes through the epidermis (top layer of skin) into the dermis, where unwanted pigment is located.
- Because the pulse is in the nanosecond range and extremely powerful, the pigment absorbs the energy and rapidly expands.
- This causes the pigment to shatter into tiny fragments.
